The M8-LT softshell offers water-resistance, not full waterproofing. It will handle light rain and wind very well but is not a sealed waterproof shell.
How does it fit -- athletic or relaxed?
The M8-LT is cut with a semi-athletic fit. It's close enough through the torso to layer under a shell but has enough room for light base layers underneath.
Are the zippers YKK or similar quality?
