How We Describe Bag Dimensions and Fit
Every bag listing on UADEPOT includes a full set of measurements taken from the replica itself — not copied from brand marketing. Dimensions are listed in centimetres (cm) with inches in parentheses, and follow the standard Width × Height × Depth order. For example, a spec reading 28 × 18 × 9 cm (11 × 7 × 3.5 in) means the bag is 28 cm across, 18 cm tall, and 9 cm deep at the base.
A few bag-specific measurements to watch for:
- Handle drop — the distance from the top of the handle to the top of the bag body. A 20 cm (8 in) drop sits comfortably in the crook of your arm; 25–30 cm (10–12 in) is shoulder-carry territory.
- Strap length (adjustable range) — given as a minimum–maximum, e.g. 100–120 cm (39–47 in), so you can judge crossbody vs. shoulder wear before you order.
- Chain length — stated as total extended length for chain-strap styles. Convert to drop by dividing in half.
- Capacity / volume — where listed, given in litres or as a fit note (e.g. "fits A4 documents flat").
If a dimension matters to you — say, whether a bag fits a 13-inch laptop — drop us a message via the product page and we'll measure the interior pocket directly.
Bag Materials and Hardware
Our replica bag listings specify both exterior material and hardware finish. Here is what the common terms mean in practice:
- Full-grain cowhide / top-grain leather — genuine cow leather, same cut of hide used on originals. Full-grain retains the natural surface; top-grain is lightly buffed for consistency.
- Caviar leather — pebbled cowhide that resists scratches. The pebble texture is embossed under heat and pressure, matching the grain depth of the original production method.
- Lambskin — smooth, soft, and lightweight. More delicate than caviar. Listed explicitly when used because care requirements differ.
- Canvas (coated or jacquard) — woven textile base with PVC or resin coating for water resistance. Weight is listed in grams per square metre (gsm) on technical batches.
- Hardware finish — listed as gold-tone, silver-tone, aged brass, or ruthenium. "Light gold" and "dark gold" refer to the plating thickness and alloy mix. Hardware is zinc-alloy or brass base; plating weight is noted in microns on QC-grade batches.
Our quality assurance page explains the factory inspection process, including how stitching density (stitches per centimetre), lining material, and zipper brand (YKK vs. factory equivalents) are verified before stock is accepted.
Reading a Watch Spec List
Watch specs have their own vocabulary. Every listing in our replica watch catalogue follows this structure:
- Case diameter — measured in millimetres across the widest point of the case, lugs excluded. 36–38 mm reads as compact/classic; 40–42 mm is the most common "versatile" size; 44 mm and above is a sports or statement piece.
- Case thickness — how tall the watch sits off the wrist. Dress watches run 6–9 mm; diver and sport cases can reach 13–15 mm.
- Lug-to-lug width — the distance from the top lug tip to the bottom lug tip. Relevant for wrist fit: under 46 mm is generally comfortable on smaller wrists.
- Lug width (strap width) — the gap between lugs where the strap attaches, in mm. This tells you what replacement strap width fits. Common sizes: 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm.
- Water resistance — stated in metres (m) or ATM (1 ATM ≈ 10 m). 30 m = splash-proof only; 100 m = recreational swimming; 200 m+ = diving-safe.
- Crystal — sapphire crystal (scratch-resistant, rates 9 on the Mohs scale) vs. mineral glass (standard, rates 5–6). Our mirror-grade batches use sapphire; this is always stated in the spec.
Strap Materials
Strap options vary by model and are listed separately from the case spec:
- Oyster / Jubilee bracelet — 904L or 316L stainless steel link bracelet. 904L is the higher-corrosion-resistant grade used on top-tier batches and will be called out explicitly.
- Rubber / FKM rubber — FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) is the premium grade: oil-resistant, UV-stable, used on sport and diver references.
- Alligator-embossed leather — cowhide with pressed scale pattern, not actual alligator hide unless specifically stated.
- Nylon / NATO strap — ballistic nylon weave; listed with hardware colour (brushed or polished steel).
Movement Types: Quartz vs. Automatic
The movement is the engine of the watch, and it is always specified in our listings.
Quartz movements
Battery-powered. The second hand moves in discrete one-second ticks. Quartz is highly accurate (±15 seconds per month or better) and requires almost no maintenance — just a battery change every 1–3 years. Our quartz replica watches use Japanese Miyota quartz or Swiss-spec equivalents depending on the batch.
Automatic (self-winding) movements
Powered by the motion of your wrist via a rotor. The second hand sweeps smoothly (typically 6–8 beats per second). Accuracy runs ±10–25 seconds per day for a well-regulated movement. If the watch sits unworn, it will stop after roughly 38–72 hours (the stated power reserve). Our automatic replicas use movements listed by calibre — for example, an Asia clone of the ETA 2824 or a clone of the Rolex 3135 — and the spec sheet names the calibre and its stated power reserve. Servicing (oiling, regulation) is recommended every 3–5 years.
A quick rule of thumb: if you want set-and-forget accuracy, choose quartz. If you want the experience of a mechanical watch — the sweep hand, the winding rotor, the horological craft — choose automatic. See our blog guides for more detail on caring for automatic movements in replica watches.
How to Cross-Check Specs Before You Order
- Open the product listing and scroll to the Specifications tab.
- Note the case diameter and compare it against your wrist circumference: a 40 mm case typically suits wrists of 16–19 cm (6.3–7.5 in).
- Check the movement type and power reserve if automatic.
- For bags, confirm the handle drop or strap length against how you plan to carry it.
- If a spec is missing or unclear, use the on-page enquiry form — our team can pull factory sheet measurements within 24 hours.
All specifications are sourced directly from the factories producing each batch and verified against our QA inspection reports. These are 1:1 replica pieces produced with the same materials as the originals; minor production-batch tolerances of ±1–2 mm are normal and consistent with how the originals are manufactured.
